4. Permissions Explained

The extension requests minimal permissions:

• activeTab – needed to allow spellchecking on the current webpage.
• scripting – used only to inject the spell-check logic.
• storage – stores your “Auto Check” preference locally on your browser.

5. Local Storage Only

The extension saves only one setting: Whether auto spell-check is enabled (true/false). This is stored locally on your browser and never shared.

6. No Account or Login Required

The extension does not require a user account, login, or authentication.
